Step 1 – Build the Optional Base
Assemble the three 90 × 90 mm pressure-treated timber beams to create the elevated base. Position them evenly and ensure they are level, aligned, and stable before installing the floor framing.
Step 2 – Build the Floor Frame
Assemble the 45 × 90 mm timber members to form the floor frame. Install the floor joists according to the layout shown in the plans, keeping them level, straight, and properly aligned before securing all connections.
Step 5 – Build the Window Frame
Build the window frame using 45 × 90 mm timber, following the opening dimensions and frame layout shown in the plans. Assemble the frame securely and install it within the wall opening, ensuring it is properly aligned and level before proceeding with the acrylic glazing.
Step 6 – Install the Interior Wall Panels
Install the 12 mm exterior-grade or marine-grade plywood panels on the interior faces of the wall framing, following the panel layout shown in the plans. Align the panels carefully and secure them to the framing, leaving the specified expansion gaps between adjacent panels.
Step 7 – Build the Roof Frame
Assemble the roof framing using 45 × 90 mm and 45 × 45 mm timber, following the support, beam, joist, and blocking layout shown in the plans. Ensure all members are properly aligned and securely fastened before installing the roof sheathing.
Step 8 – Install the Exterior Wall Sheathing
Install the 12 mm exterior-grade or marine-grade plywood panels over the exterior wall framing, following the panel layout and window openings shown in the plans. Align the panels carefully, leave the specified expansion gaps, and securely fasten them to the framing.
Step 9 – Install the Roof Sheathing
Install the 15 mm exterior-grade or marine-grade plywood over the roof framing, following the roof panel layout shown in the plans. Keep the panels properly aligned, leave the specified expansion gaps, and securely fasten them to the roof joists before installing the roofing membrane.
Step 10 – Install the Self-Adhered Cap Sheet Roofing
Install the self-adhered cap sheet roofing membrane over the completed roof sheathing. Ensure the roof deck is clean and dry, then apply the membrane according to the manufacturer’s requirements for adhesion, overlaps, and edge termination.
Step 11 – Install the Acrylic Windows and Apply the Finishes
Install the 4 mm clear acrylic panels in the prepared window frames and seal the perimeter to prevent water infiltration. Complete the exterior with the specified white wood finish, matte black paint, and natural wood protective finish as indicated in the plans.
